The Prevention Center for Heart and Brain Health utilizes the proven scientific protocols
of the BaleDoneen Method to identify, halt, and regress arterial disease. It is important
that each patient is provided with the proper time to tell their story and be heard. Our
genetically guided, inflammatory and individualized approach requires the necessary
time and care that is often not offered in a traditional medical model. To provide this
optimal approach, it is necessary we step away from a sick care model to one of true
health care. Each treatment decision is evidenced-based and scientifically grounded.
Our entire team is dedicated to ensuring your health-span to match your lifespan.

We function under a direct care/pay model, therefore we do not accept health
insurance. However, we do encourage you to utilize your insurance for our outsourced
labs and tests.

It’s possible but we do not handle any reimbursements directly. However, you are
welcome to submit your statements to your private insurance plan for reimbursement.
Our providers are opted out of Medicare; therefore statements cannot be submitted.

We work in partnership with your healthcare team. It is important you maintain your
relationships with your primary care providers and specialists as necessary. We are
specialists in arterial disease, which is a unique field of medicine. We are arteriologists.

We do a deep dive at blood labs including lipids, markers for inflammation, vitamin and
nutritional labs, and glycemic health labs. Additionally, we use imaging of the arteries to
detect areas of plaque and monitor your arterial disease/inflammation over time. Lastly,
we use genetics to guide highly personalized treatment plans. It’s possible we will
recommend additional testing related to sleep, oral health, and psychosocial health too.

After your initial day-long evaluation, the cost is roughly $315 per month for ongoing
care. Prices are subject to change and can be found on our website.

Once established under our care, we can allow telehealth appointments when
necessary. We provide unlimited visits as needed. For our stable patients, we strive for
necessary labs/tests and visits every 3-4 months. An annual in-person visit at our The
Prevention Center for Heart and Brain Health is required and includes several
tests/exam/visit that is done on site.

Yes, we welcome you back to our center. If you have not been a patient within the last 2
years, we do require you to start again as a new patient. Health status can change
within a two year period and we insist on providing you with optimal care at all times.

We do! Patients come from all over the world to do our program. Many are outside of
the greater Spokane here. Come see us! We are licensed in Washington State,
therefore, we require an in-person visit to our beautiful city, Spokane, Washington.

The first step is to get an initial evaluation! While most people decide to stay for on-
going care, we can certainly send our detailed evaluation and treatment plan to your
current healthcare provider. We advocate for regular metrics and discussions to ensure
your optimal health.

We are the only Prevention Center for Heart and Brain Health. However, there are
providers throughout the country that are practicing the BaleDoneen Method, founded
by Dr. Bradley Bale and Dr. Amy Doneen. The Prevention Center for Heart and Brain
Health was founded over two decades ago by Dr. Amy Doneen in Spokane,
Washington.

Since oral health is a risk factor for heart disease, we partner with dentists to look for
possible hidden infections that could lead to further cardiac issues. If we notice anything
concerning, we facilitate the partnership with your dentist to optimize your oral health as
it relates to arterial inflammation.
