Frequently asked questions about The Prevention Center for Heart and Brain Health

The Prevention Center for Heart and Brain Health utilizes the proven scientific protocols of the BaleDoneen Method to identify, halt, and regress arterial disease. It is important that each patient is provided with the proper time to tell their story and be heard.

Our genetically guided, inflammatory and individualized approach requires the necessary time and care that is often not offered in a traditional medical model. To provide this optimal approach, it is necessary we step away from a sick care model to one of true health care.

Each treatment decision is evidenced-based and scientifically grounded. Our entire team is dedicated to ensuring your health-span to match your lifespan.

We work in partnership with your healthcare team. It is important you maintain your relationships with your primary care providers and specialists as necessary. We are specialists in arterial disease, which is a unique field of medicine. We are arteriologists.

Since oral health is a risk factor for heart disease, we partner with dentists to look for possible hidden infections that could lead to further cardiac issues. If we notice anything concerning, we facilitate the partnership with your dentist to optimize your oral health as it relates to arterial inflammation.

After your initial Signature Prevention Program evaluation at $4500, the cost is roughly $315 per month for ongoing maintenance care. Prices are subject to change and can be found here on our website.

We function under a direct care/pay model, therefore we do not accept health insurance. However, we do encourage you to utilize your insurance for our outsourced labs and tests.

It’s possible but we do not handle any reimbursements directly. However, you are welcome to submit your statements to your private insurance plan for reimbursement. Our providers are opted out of Medicare; therefore statements cannot be submitted.

We do a deep dive at blood labs including lipids, markers for inflammation, vitamin and nutritional labs, and glycemic health labs. Additionally, we use imaging of the arteries to detect areas of plaque and monitor your arterial disease/inflammation over time. Lastly, we use genetics to guide highly personalized treatment plans. It’s possible we will recommend additional testing related to sleep, oral health, and psychosocial health too.

The first step is to get an initial evaluation! While most people decide to stay for ongoing care, we can certainly send our detailed evaluation and treatment plan to your current healthcare provider. We advocate for regular metrics and discussions to ensure your optimal health.
