We're often called "disease detectives."

Learn more about the science

Our center specializes in an innovative, precision-medicine approach to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD). We've been called "disease detectives" because our comprehensive evaluation checks for a wide range of root causes that can lead to CVD if they go undiagnosed and undetected.

Advanced testing and support, available when you need it.

Select services—including Spokane's most comprehensive whole body DEXA scanning—are also available individually. Whether you’re establishing a baseline, tracking progress, or taking a more proactive approach to your health, we make advanced prevention testing more accessible.

Whole body DEXA scanning

Go beyond the scale with a detailed look at your body composition, including body fat, muscle mass, and visceral fat linked to heart and metabolic health. A DEXA scan helps uncover risks earlier and gives you a clearer picture of your overall health and progress over time.

cIMT scan

A carotid intima-media thickness (cIMT) scan is a simple, non-invasive ultrasound that looks for early signs of arterial disease before symptoms appear. This advanced screening identifies hidden cardiovascular risk and guides a more personalized prevention plan.

Cardiometabolic health refers to the interconnected health of your heart, blood vessels, metabolism, and blood sugar regulation. It includes factors like blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, inflammation, insulin resistance, and diabetes risk — all of which can impact your long-term risk for heart disease, stroke, and other chronic conditions.

Our Signature Prevention Program is a series of consultations. After the intake and initial testing stages, we meet for a comprehensive consultation appointment. That lasts 2-4 hours to review everything in-depth, answer questions, and discuss next steps. Thankfully we also have comfy chairs in each patient room to make the experience as relaxed as possible.
