Snickers Dates

Looking for a healthier sweet treat for that holiday get-together? Get ready for the most delicious Snickers wannabe. You’ve got to give these a try!

Ingredients

  • 15 Medjool dates
  • ⅓ cup salted natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1½ cups dark chocolate chips
  • Flaky sea salt (we recommend Maldon)
  • ½ cup roasted salted peanuts, finely chopped

Directions

  • Slice the Medjool dates lengthwise and remove the pits and stems.
  • Fill each date with a generous amount of peanut butter. Refrigerate or freeze for at least 15 minutes until firm.
  • Melt dark chocolate chips in a double boiler on the stovetop or in a microwaveable bowl. Roll each stuffed date in the chocolate and place on parchment or wax paper.
  • Quickly and generously sprinkle chopped, salted peanuts and sea salt flakes over the dates while the chocolate is still melty.
  • Let dates cool uncovered in the fridge, then store in a container in the fridge or freezer.

A Few Tips:

  • These dates can be frozen after they are made. Consider making extra because you’ll want them!
  • To save time, buy pitted dates (trust us!)
